Romantic

After changing her hair style, stealing a rose from mums garden, experimenting with some fabric and a torch shining through a paper lantern I think I've got an image I'm happy with for the theme Romantic.

A giant heart

I was experimenting with a few props while trying to get theme photos for the doll photo competition and had some fun with a giant heart.
I was going for a romantic theme, but it ended up more cute than romantic. I've come up with a new idea which I'll have a go at tomorrow and see if it turns out any closer to what feel I want the photo to portray.

Nocturne

Mum makes doll clothes and has been interacting with a lot of doll blogs lately. Earlier this year she came across this competition and told me I should think about entering. http://thedollwardrobe.blogspot.com.au/2012/12/2013-grand-photo-contest-curators-game.html
Basically, you choose 3 themes from the list and take a photo for each theme you've chosen.
I've put it off a bit as I've been quite busy at work but had a creative spurt tonight and chose my first theme. Nocturne.
I took a few photos to choose from, at this stage I'm leaning towards entering the first of these two.

I'm hoping to get a bit more time over the weekend and next week to choose two more themes and get my entries in!
