Tea cups with grunge

So I better give a warning early on, I like experimenting with lots of different styles, not all will be your cup of tea (haha sorry, I had to say it). There will be some 'cleaner' photos later on but I had too much fun with these first :)

  1. I do so like a good tea pun lol. But that is the thing with photography we all have our own preferred styles but it doesn't mean we shouldn't be confronted by another style. Now she says I think I like the cleaner style lol But I don wonder if these cups would pop as much if they were taken in a cleaner way? Anyhoo these are gorgeous cups by the way.

    1. Yes, that's why I love photography (and art in general), it talks to people in different ways and can invoke a range of emotions, even if it's just making someone smile because they think it's cute.
But don't worry! You will be able to see these two in a cleaner style, the top one is actually the same tea cup that is in the 'my cup of tea' poster, and the bottom tea cup is too pretty not to take another photo of :)

    3. haha no, your eyes are perfectly fine :)
The 'my cup of tea' photo shows the colour more accurately, this has had colour and contrast played with a lot. It's a really pretty tea cup and I think I actually like it a lot more than the ones that are painted with flowers.

    1. I use Photoshop for all my photo editing. I usually try to edit them as little as possible, except in cases like this one where I'm trying to be obvious :)
